The first steps are to listen to fully understand the client as a person, then identify the unhealthy emotion they are experiencing and it’s triggers. Together, we then agree what the problem to be fixed is, jointly set clear goals and work to meet these. This is through straight talking, some challenge and homework.

During this, personal change is built through increased self-awareness, building self-esteem, exercises, analogies and role plays. Clients have found that some humour can also be amazingly relaxing and healing!

The positive changes built help us move on, achieve our personal goals, enjoy life to its fullest, experience joy and have fun.

I always strive to provide an empathetic, compassionate, caring and confidential service. This is based on trust, openness, non-judgement and safety.
